Restorative Dentistry In Novi, MI
- Dental Implants
If damaged or missing teeth have left you self-conscious and ashamed to smile, consider restoring your smile with the closest thing to natural, healthy teeth: dental implants.
Using dental implants, we can replace missing or damaged teeth. Implants as just as strong and dependable as your natural, healthy teeth because they’re placed in your jawbone where they fuse with the bone to become a part of you. We can then attach your restorations to complete your smile.
To find out if you have enough bone mass and healthy gums to support dental implants, visit our office for a consultation.
- Dental Crowns
For badly discolored or damaged teeth, dental crowns are a great restorative option. Crowns can also be used to strengthen and protect a tooth after a root canal. At Dr. James C Ross Family, Cosmetic & Laser Dentistry, we use tooth-colored porcelain or zirconia crowns that are strong and natural-looking.
While traditional crowns encase the entire tooth, partial crowns called inlays and onlays work in a similar fashion to protect the top and sides of a tooth. Schedule a consultation today to find out which solution is right for you.
- Dental Bridges
A bridge uses two or more crowns on either side of the space left by a missing tooth or teeth. The crowns used as anchors are called abutment teeth. The abutment teeth help to hold the false replacement tooth/teeth in place between them.
The false teeth, called pontics can be made from gold, porcelain, allows, or a combination of them.
- Tooth-Colored Fillings
A filling is used to fix the damage and fill in the space left behind by a cavity. Once the filling is in place, your tooth will be reinforced and you’ll be able to eat like normal.
At our office, we use tooth-colored fillings so no one will even be able to tell you had a filling, except you of course!
- Dental Veneers
Veneers are a great restorative option for teeth that are discolored, cracked, or chipped. These thin shells of tooth-colored material help strengthen, protect, and hide flaws in your teeth. We gently and carefully bond each veneer to the front surface of your natural teeth to reinforce and transform your smile. With proper care and maintenance, dental veneers can last a decade or longer.
